The Pajama Men - In The Middle of No One

The Charing Cross Theatre in London, near the bank of the River Thames, will soon be the home of “The Pajama Men: In the Middle of No One” following the show’s successful appearance at the Soho Theatre. It marks the latest occasion that the American comedy duo have brought a show to British shores and considering their track record of acclaim and success this is show that is likely to put a smile on many London theatre fans when it opens in January. Featuring an array of sketches and jokes, plus topics ranging from the mundane to the otherworldly, it is certainly something that many will remember.

The show has been described in many ways put ‘fast-paced’ will sum it up well as they take on a variety of characters in an array of sketches, whilst covering a wide range of topics. They are known for their twisting plots and their gift for jokes and their imaginations will take them from themes like time travel and alien abduction to the dim-witted and love to the enduring sprit of exploration and adventure. There’s a good reason this show has been highly received at the Soho Theatre and with such memorable points along the way audiences will be laughing just as hard at the Charing Cross Theatre.

And based on their previous success The Pajama Men – or Shenoah Allen and Mark Chavez to their friends - should have no trouble picking up new fans along the way. The duo have been performing together for over ten years and made their British debut at the 2004 Edinburgh Festival Fringe with a show entitled “In Fine Form”, with many follow-ups that have been seen on international stages such as “Stop Not Going”, “Versus vs. Versus” and “The Last Stand to Reason” before “In the Middle of No One” opened at the Soho Theatre in June 2011. Among their awards are the Perrier Award from Edinburgh and the Barry Award from the Melbourne Comedy Festival.

It now arrives at the Charing Cross Theatre when “Fascinating Aïda” – another comedy group – finish their performances in January. It runs from Monday 9th January 2012 to Saturday 3rd March 2012.
