Bazza Chun Yi: The Legend of Kung Fu
From the 2008 Beijing Olympics to the home of the 2012 Olympics Games, Chun Yi: The Legend of Kung Fu travels to London where it will be staged at the Coliseum this summer. This surprise hit is sure to repeat the same success in the capital, with the spectacle of Kung Fu master work on display for all to see.
Chun Yi: The Legend of Kung Fu promises to be an exciting ride which critics all over the world have been praising for its unique world of acrobatics mixed with electrifying martial arts.
Over in Beijing, the show has become a blockbusting smash hit, with millions of people experiencing this epic show. But there is a story to all of the visual treats on offer and in this case we are taken on a journey, following the trek of a young boy called Chun Yi seeking enlightenment. But to complete his task he must take part in and complete a large series of trials that will truly put him to the test. If he is successful he can finally claim his crown as Chun Yi – The Pure One. It is famous as a story that combines martial arts with acrobatic skills and dance, with great music propelling the story telling forward.
It was first seen back in 2004 and its creators ‘China Heaven’ have never looked back with daily performances taking place since 2006 at the Red Theatre in the heart of Beijing. It has broken the barriers between the East and West with thousands of performances in both China and the US since 2006, with the UK soon to follow this year. It is almost certain to blow the minds of British audiences and become a must see experience.
Demand continues to keep the show alive, with acclaim from all corners of the world propelling it onwards. It will only be playing for twenty seven performances in the capital so make sure you get your tickets soon for the London stage event of the year.
