The movie version went on to win an incredible 10 Academy Awards (including Best Picture) and further cemented the reputation of this undoubted masterpiece.
Now in 2008, 50 years after the show made its London debut, Joey McKneely’s vibrant new stage production of the classic dance musical comes to London after wild critical acclaim in Tokyo, Paris and Beijing.

The Sadler's Wells theatre, the fifth theatre on this historic site, opened in October 1998 and has magnificent facilities for performers and audiences alike. The building incorporates state of the art technology both on stage to ensure performers have the best environment in which to both perform and showcase their work, as well as to enhance the theatre experience for the audience.

Directions
Turn left out of Angel station and cross the road at the crossroads for St John Street. Roseberry Avenue is on the right with the theatre about 100 metres down on the right.
